Yohan Cabaye's shooting?

  1. How does he get such power and accuracy on his shots, with sometimes only a second to react?

He deserves more than just 1 goal so far, his technique is fantastic, he gets great power on his shots and 80% of his shots force saves from keepers, sometimes forcing the best out of great keepers like Given.

Is he's just simply splendiferous? Or is there some secret behind him?

It's his three Shredded Wheat he has for breakfast.

He has been unlucky not to get his first goal before yesterday, but it was worth waiting for.

Lovely set up by Marveaux and a great finish.

I'd suggest its just the fact he's a really good player, rather than the stopgaps we've had over the last few poor seasons that some younger fans herald as 'legends'...

He could have got at least one at Villa if it hadn't been for Given

He's class...Plain and simple - we shouldn't have gotten him for 4.5m! Its like going to the cash machine and somehow getting a 10er for free...I'm still looking over my shoulder to make sure noone is claiming him back!

<laugh> This. It's quite amazing to think of the absolute steals we've gotten away with lately. Cabaye and Tiote cost about 8m altogether, crazy.

I really struggle to think of a better central midfield pairing in the Premier League at the minute.

    Just masterful business.

Brilliant, I have images of kids trading footy stickers:

"I'll give swap you Andy Carroll for 16 million Demba Ba's..."

Football stickers were awesome, Merlin Premier League '94.. I still have the album somewhere! There was always some lucky bastard at school with a 5 inch thick pack of them wrapped in an elastic band, it'd take all of dinner time at school to "Got, Got, Need, Need" your way through that lot.

Haha, flashback! Did they used to make football cards too? Cards were just going out of trend when I was as kid, being replaced by stickers, but I'm sure I had a set of panini cards. Me and my sister ended up drawing bananas all over the Peter Reid Man City card as I recall.
