Anyone been watching France's frendlies? This guy is really flourishing as an attacking midfielder in a 4-3-3 system for France. In a 4-4-2 system for toon he sometimes goes missing and the game passes him by. Next season we should sign a defensive midfielder (Mulumbu?) to the holding role alongside Tiote, which will allow Cabaye to dictate play further up the field and create more chances and score more goals. 4-3-3 is the way to go next season and if Demba leaves we should sign a left sided attacker and a backup striker like Rhodes or Jay Rodriguez.

When we played 4-3-3 Cabaye was so much better, and so was Ben Arfa.

We only switched back to 4-4-2 to try and get Ba scoring again, and we payed opposition too much respect.

I'm sorry, but If Ba doesn't like 4-3-3 and playing on the LW or being 2nd choice, then he can go, because the 4-3-3 system got the results and us playing immense football.

Ba and Cisse will just have to be happy rotating.

Ben Arfa is amazing on the RW in a 4-3-3. He's given more freedom and doesn't have to track back as much as our DM's will cover.

I'm not saying Ben Arfa shouldn't have to do any defensive work, but in a 4-4-2 he's got too much responsibility, he needs to be set loose.

We should play 4-3-3 most games, or if we need a different tactic, switch to 4-4-2 with Shola and Cisse/Ba, put on Raylor for the crosses and play long balls and pressure.
