Were we not fined last season for bringing out a new kit too many times in consecutive seasons?

I was under the impression that a kit should only be changed once every two seasons, and as we have had a new kit every season dating back from 05/06 season (as depicted here: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Portsmouth/Portsmouth.htm), we were already in some trouble regarding "the rules"?

And it seems as if the club have not learnt their lesson. Here is an article dating back to 2007, which shows the disappointment of the fans - http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/lo...s_fury_over_third_pompey_kit_change_1_1279499

However, we seem to be partly to blame, as every season we all rush out to buy this seasons kit, a trick the club seem to have latched on and make use of for the past 7 seasons <doh>

I'm still happy with my 'Goodmans', though my excuse is I'm very retro.

I wore the Goodmans shirt to the FA cup parade. A classic design that was. The one with the zigzags. The squares one was good too, though.

The Goodmans shirt was only a few minutes away from an FA Cup final. Was heartbroken, 'lucky Liverpool'.

I had the red away zigzag one on, that day. I have never worn it since. In fact I think I threw it away, many years ago.

One of the best away kits, I thought, was the black and red halves style, like Blackburn's, but black and red. That was seen, all across town, for a long time.
