Having watched the first 45 mins of yesterday's game on City Player, forget Basso, Chester, Hobbs, Dawson or Waghorn. As one of the crowd I d like to give the award to myself and some 1200 others in the City end. Apart from the dull Lincolnshire accent of the commentator, the only voices that can be heard all the way through are those of ourselves. I d like to award ME as the MotM....without doubt
it was a good atmosphere. first time my son has been to a game with terracing and he enjoyed it. he wants to know why it cant always be like that.
Would love to see terracing at the KC. Should we get Millwall fans to sit in the east stand for a few games. lol
Did I read that even at London Rd the'yre planning on developing part of the stadium so that terracing may not last much longer?
You did indeed read that. Sat will be one of the last games with that terracing open as the council have just bought the ground and decieded to redevelop mid-season meaning that the away ticket allocation for some of the teams with the biggest travelling support will be quite small. Clever thinking by the new owners. I am not sure but think that it will be seats going in once the rebuilding is complete ready for next season.
That will be a shame. It was very enjoyable to be able to stand at a match again (without having to get relegated...). Like you say, brilliant planning to do it mid-season.
