Alright chaps I was at the game yesterday and it was a good performance from the lads just thought I would share my opinions..

Mignolet - 6 - Never realy had a save to make. Couldn't do anything about Petrov's goal it was a screamer, decent display from the lad before he went off injured.

O'Shea - 6 - Looked canny and you can see the experience he brings to the side, got forward when he could to help out Larsson. Lets hope his injury aint a bad one

Turner - 7 - Looked good today and along with Brown kept Bent and there other forwards quiet, the more he plays the better he will get with regards to his fitness.

Brown - 7 - Same as Turner realy never give there strikers a sniff, like O'Shea his experience to the side is a huge plus.

Richardson - 8 - I wonder if N'Zogbia is still in his back pocket. A solid performance by our left back today, got forward well and with Brown next to him he is improving everygame at left back. His pace is a huge plus for us as when he gets into trouble he gets himself out of it very quickly.

Larsson - 7 - Canny display by Seb, brings a huge threat with his set piece delivery.

Vaughan - 6 - Neat and tidy and didn't do anything wrong but was one of his more quieter days.

Colback - 8 - Thought Colback was brilliant and is getting better all the time, aswell as being great on the ball he is now starting to break forward more and that is a huge plus.

Sessegnon - 9 - Absolutely embarrassed Hutton who will of probably had nightmares about it last night. Great bit of skill to turn the defender then play in Connor for the goal. Always looked a threat and I think the left wing is were he should be played on a regular basis when we go with the 4/4/2 formation.

Wickham - 8 - A good performance from the young lad and a great strike to get off the mark for us, puts himself around and you can certainly tell he works hard in the gym, he sent Richard Dunne flying in the first half, works hard for the team and put in a great last ditch slide tackle in the left back area with 5 or so minutes to go.

Bendtner - 7 - Decent on the ball but it was all in areas that were not causing problems like on the left wing then out on the right. A great signing by Brucie but yesterday was one of his quieter days

    SUBS

Bardsley - 6 - Canny display from Bardo at right back and is a good player to have waiting in the wings if injuries happen lyk they did yesterday.

Westwood - 6 - Made a fine save from Bent from about 8yards out, never done anything wrong when he was on the pitch.

Meyler - 5 - Looked slow and well off the pace and done few daft things that give Villa some good chances, hopefully this is just down to him being rusty and the more he plays the better he will get.

Now to the Man United game as for the team if I was Brucie I would revert back to the 4/5/1 and go with (providing O'Shea is back and I would imagine Mignolet will miss out)...

    -------------------- Westwood --------------------

    -- O'Shea ------ Turner ----- Brown --- Richardson -

    ---------- Vaughan ------------- Colback ----------

    Elmohamady -------- Sessegnon ----------- Larsson

    --------------------- Bendtner --------------------

    subs

    Bardsley
    Carson
    Cattermole
    Gardner
    Meyler
    Ji

Thought O'Shea was poor yesterday mate but, as for the rest near enough spot on. Got to work on closing players down quicker and harrying them from the first to the final whistle.

Elmo will be terrified at Old Trafford. Not catts biggest fan but will not be intimidated down there so possibly put him. Would still rather go at them with both CW and NB upfront

Decent article until Elmohamady was mentioned as getting back into the team !.

The lad shouldn't even be in the squad.
