They are. However theres not a whole lot to scoop at present. So far this summer, all theyve had is stuff like, McD widening pitch at at thorp arch, Leeds swoop for Smith and the latest headlines McD happy with fixtures. All pathetic stuff just to fill columns. But lets face it, there is nothing going on at the club except enquiries for a few cheap free options. Hard to make headlines when there are none

Yes but how do we know there's nothing going on without some investigative journalism? It would make a nice change if YEP actually did some instead of just publishing the latest 'news' to come out of the club. We might as well just read the Leeds United website as YEP simply print what's on there. If they had some proper journalists I'm sure there'd be some interesting revelations that would come out of Elland Road
YEP lost my custom when they sacked Matteo who was writing for free! He was unbaised and probably ruffled a few feathers by saying exactlly what the fans were thinking
Don't know if any of you read the comments from the fans in the YEP, but there seems to be people saying that Maccer might walk because he's being messed around. Could be bol***s. Don't know how they know.
That's what warnock did wrong as soon as he wasn't getting backed he should've walked, he would have been held in high regard by us Leeds fans but cos he stayed n bullshitted his way through the season we all think he's a **** lol
If yep was any use, they would be following up on yesterdays story of McD meeting owners to get green light on transfers. Its the only story we care about at the moment and they cant even be bothered following up on that
Eire, I suspect that something will appear in either the later versions of YEP or certainly tomorrow's. It would also be useful if we saw a positive statement on Leeds website - something along the lines of ... meeting went well, GFH confirmed funds available for a number of targets, Harvey will now be sitting down with agents to finalise contracts over the next week or so. Although BMD has given the owners the names of 7 players he wants, he apparently goes on to say that its not about numbers as such. So we may only get 3 or 4, or maybe even 5. But so long as we see GFH backing BMD & that he confirms these were the players he really wanted in key positions, all will be well.
The reality Boggers maybe, meeting was stopped after a few minutes, Maccer has resigned over broken promises, board admit they've no money and basically we're f***** for another season... or maybe I'm being cynical...
