    0-2...F/T.

Most of the talk in the second half was about the sending off.

Friendly it ain’t. I presume that has no impact on Mumbai’s availability in competitive games?

Seems there was a general melee involving players and benches.,.

Prior to that Mumba was getting positive comments.

From what I have read the Argyle red was for retaliation rather than anything else. Seems the Yeovil player had set out his intent prior to going through the back of Mumba in what was described as a reckless tackle. A red in any game apparently. Mumba clearly took exception and raised his hands. He has my sympathy if the description is right. Some non league journeyman does his best to possibly end a young players career in what was supposed to be a friendly game. He doesn't want his career ending and lets the culprit know it. I know you can't raise your hands these days without it being punished but it does seem unfair to me they get red carded for reacting like most of us would. Guess he will learn a lesson though and better it is in a pre-season friendly than a league match.

Just seems unjust that Mumba's response gets equal punishment with the Yeovil player...whose tackle was intended....Mumba's was more self defence and self preservation.

Think it was a bit too late for self defence or preservation. His actions were after the event rather than during. He knows he can't do that but I can understand why he would. Referees are the ones who need to stamp on things quickly. We can all see the intent sometimes from certain players and if we can so can the Ref.

Bali Mumba is a good little player, hopefully he avoids injury and does well this season <cheers>
    - he played centre midfield at Sunderland and looked the real deal before our owners sold the family silver.
