Good move for Alberto he'll have the chance to develop his game, Toure is done he just couldn't hack it week in week out.

Agree on both. Good loan move for Alberto - hopefully our next Xabi! - and Toure was only really temporary support for our CBs.

I think Ilori should step into Toure's role now. He's a very exciting player.

What?! <yikes> As the aged, leathery veteran with supposedly game changing experience? <laugh>

i'd hope it gives us some chance of holding his value up. 7mil is a stretch to get back but if he does well we might

  11. Can't say I'm too impressed by the Alberto deals. Why splash £7m on a youngsters for the future and then get rid twelve months later? Its hardly giving him chance is it? Or did we not scout him properly?

Its only a loan. So he still has a chance.

    Good for Both.

The Prem is probably too much for Toure these days (as would a few other leagues). He did a job at the start of the season when we needed him to cover, added that experience and got us off to a good start. Shame that time caught up with him over the season and I will always respect a player willing to take a pay cut in order to get a shot at playing instead of sitting on a bench. Turkish league will suit him and will give him that last chance at first team football.

Alberto, seems like a good move. Chance for him to get the games at a similar level and hopefully will show why we bought him. Just hope he takes the chance.

I remember hearing last year that Alberto was always going to be going on loan after a short spell here to settle into the club/country. So not really surprised to hear that he's off on a season loan which'll be great for him too.

See you, Toure. Suppose he was a decent backup for a year.

Good for Alberto to get some experience but shame it's not in England.
