I know the irony of creating an Enrique article to state how bored I am of Enrique articles where the same arguments are restated by each person.

(NUTSHELL) Some think it’s a foregone conclusion that he’s off and others think he’s simply stating his desire to see if the clubs ambitions match his own; hence the waiting game.

Also, as long as he doesn’t leave for Liverpool than many who think he will leave are fine with his departure and wish him all the best.(/NUTSHELL)

So; that is the synopsis of the current situation and until Enrique makes up his mind and states his intentions publically by either signing a new deal or leaving; let’s try not having any more Enrique articles please.

I’m getting RSI from typing the same statement a few times a day and I need all the flexibility in my wrists for self-congratulation and golf; mainly for golf though because I really need to improve my game (5 over par after the first hole is usual)...

Jelle Vossen anyone

Hear Hear!
He hasn't said anything new in weeks, if not months. And frankly, while the season is still getting played I don't want him to be focusing on that anyway.
Stop worrying everyone until something actually changes!

I hope he stays but regardless of that, this is shaping up to be a massive summer for Newcastle and if Pardew plays his cards right I could be optimistic in saying I think Newcastle can make the Europa league next season.

Maybe one of the mods could nominate one of the Enrique articles to be The Enrique Article, with all others to be closed or merged into it?

STEPHEN WARNOCK is understood to be interesting Newcastle United.

The Magpies are also continuing to monitor the situation of Malaga’s La Liga hotshot Jose Salomon Rondon, with the Venezuela international looking odds on to quit the Spanish outfit this summer after a superb campaign.

Left-back Warnock is also thought to be on the radar of his old club Liverpool. But with the Merseysiders heavily linked with Jose Enrique, the 29-year-old could offer the Magpies a viable and experienced option in their back four.

The Chronicle understands that Bolton Wanderers are also in the hunt for Warnock after the England international fell out of favour with Gerard Houllier, just like his club-mate Stephen Ireland who was eventually farmed out on loan to United.

A source at Villa Park said: “It’s pretty obvious that Stephen has no future at Villa while Gerard Houllier is here and it is now all about who comes in for him this summer.”

Warnock has not appeared for Villa since the 4-0 thrashing away to Manchester City in January and has since been reduced to the role of reserve-team player just months after playing for England against France at Wembley.

Warnock has two years left to run of his contract but could be available for a cut-price fee of considerably less than the £6m that Villa paid Blackburn for him two years ago.

United’s policy this summer is simple according to Alan Pardew, with the Toon boss stating: “We’re in the market for good players.”

Bye Bye Jose me thinks

I actually think a new manager will be installed at Villa after Houllier's heart scare.

Rondon is 9th in the La Liga goal scoring charts, ahead of the likes of Pedro, Higuian and Benzema. 14 league goals this season is a good return for somebody that's only in his early 20's and playing in a side only 3 points above the bottom three.

Good financial deal as well.

Rondon is very popular with the Far East...

16 in 31 overall, not bad at all. And they only paid €3.5m, which was a record fee for them, I'd imagine he'd be cheap enough.

Liverpool were linked with Clichy today. He could still join another team but at least there looks like there's somechance he won't join the scousers
