Looks like he's going to St. Ettienne. Can't say I'm too fussed to be honest, looks like an accident waiting to happen most of the time. We certainly need replacements in that area though.

Hopefully we'll sign a replacement CB who is strong, fast, good in the air and of high enough quality to be first choice alongside Colo.

Double deal with Feyenoord for Janmaaaaat and De Vriejgh would be my preference.

Please please can we have Grenier???? Much better than Cabaye! Him and Lacazette would be ideal!

I still rate him big time.
It's a shame that it's not working out for him though.

Same here! But he has been treated so poorly by AP that I am surprised he wants to be out

Mbiwa could be great for us but honestly the lad is better off elsewhere and I'm sure he will do well just not under Pardew. He will most likely rot on the bench if he stays with the likes of Williamson and Saylor (the former a long ball merchant and the latter..well how he is still here is anyone's guess) being played ahead of him and that would be horrible to see.

Not disappointed at all, the lad is average at best on what we've seen. Looks thick as f** and ill suited to the league. This does mean we need to sign someone though! The earlier suggestion of De Vrij and Janmaat would be my preference. Not greed much.

Janmaat is supposedly having a medical today. If this is true then the speed at which we have replaced Debuchy would make me more hopeful of replacing an outgoing Mbiwa. Just hope any replacement is a large improvement.

I think we come to regret his sale. Played some good games with Willo at the heart of the defence, his proper position. Not so sure he's a FB. Still young and maturing.

I'd have liked to keep him if I'm honest.

Think he did ok for us and given a decent run in the team would just get better. I worry about Collo this season. He started picking up injuries last season and I can see that getting worse. Having MYM would be a better option than having Saylor in the team for Collo.

Photo's of him surfacing on twitter at the newcastle airport leaving with his family to go back to france..... Don't know how legit the photo was but it lines up with rumours.
