Totally agree! With the other signings we have made we don't need to rely on a work rate from him, just his cool finishing. I have gone off Maynard now and would like us to sign the yak!
i would fook maynard off now...even if he wanted to come .........does the yak want to drop down to championship though ....speculation said not...........im sure there are plenty of other options...even a loan.....sven will not let us down.........
Would certainly hit the 20 mark for the season. Just a little scared that he may get them all away at the chavs.
Bring the Yak back ! Maynards p**sing about and can't decide what he wants to do so i'd much spend the money on a proven goal scorer rather than a poteniail one. However Sven will no doubtedly decide what is best for us. Better still, lets have both. God i'm greedy but we're minted so what the hell
could we get promotion playing with 10 men everygame, yes he scores a few goals, but is completely bone idle. we can do better than him, and i for one def do not want him back..............................
mmmmmm still really not convinced this would be good. In a promotion chasing side you just can't afford a hot and cold striker. Yes he will get a decent amount of goals - but if he got 25, but was **** and anonymous in 50% of games, we won't get promoted. He's one of the most frustrating players I've seen for that, he could be so great, but his inconsistency in performances is so infuriating. I'd have that nagging doubt in my mind if he signed - would he let us down when we really needed him? But I'm willing to be proved wrong because there's no doubt he's the most talented player we could possibly wish to get.
I said it before & I´ll say it again, he would get 20 plus (lge) goals if he stayed fit & he would make our squad look even more like a promotion pushing one.
Yak is better then Maynard but you will gwt a better workrate from Maynard. But with Nugent, Vassell and Waghorn we already have workers up front Maynard and Yak will cost about the same after transfer fees and wages I will trust whatever Sven does
I thought the same thing. If a Yak deal is lined up then Nickys agent might notice it and get him to get his arse in gear. I just want a 20+ striker in the squad now, only 20 odd days till the season is over.
Yak would be great alongside Nugent, would be the best strikeforce in the div! but he has too, want to come here and play for the team! can he do that i would like to think so, but i have my doubts.

Forget Maynard joining you lads, no disrespect but he's a class act and in my opinion only a Premership move would do the lad justice. You squad looks strong in most departments, i hope you dont flop like many a side with big money moves etc.
A premiership move that isn't materialising. I heard he wants to come to us...if true you know it's only a matter of time....
