So I was looking to stock the gaff up with some games for Xmas, so far..

I've got a poker set with cloth, chips and all that shebang. £17

    Some card game called exploding
kittens £16 - ain't played it yet but looks fun enough, (funny cards and that)

Monopoly - the credit card one (cos I lose all the money and bits and cheat all the time) still might lose the bits. £22

Tipping point - the TV quiz show in a board game (has a battery powered coin tipping machine thingy like the show)
    £15

Word-drop - it's connect 4 mixed with scrabble - pretty good game tbh, (letters instead of red and yellow discs) spell words ect
    £20 quid

Someone mentioned cards against humanity but then another mate told me it was ****e so anyone played that? Any good?

Ill also be playing some traditional family games too... nugget up with the old man and Mrs and a mate who's with us for Xmas this year.

    Find a wall.
    Mark 7ft/8ft awayfrom wall.
Each person Flicks (not throw/or toss/or roll) a pound coin at the wall. nearest to the wall gets to toss all the coins and call heads or tails, he takes what drops on his call and the rest gets flicked by 2nd closest to the wall and so on until the moneys paid out. Then go again.

Used to make a change off that in my school days<laugh>

So any Xmas entertainment you guise have planned, any games you've bought or any odd family games you plan to play?

Or just any strange family traditions you may have?

For example.... My old man and mum separated from before I can remember, so they've never been together for me and its never bothered me because of that.

Anyways that always meant 2 Xmasses each year, but when my dad met his now recently divorced wife wed spend Xmas round her parents in Chelmsford, her old man was very well off, him and his brothers owned and sold off tipper hire (the old bright orange work trucks) they always put on a lovely Christmas and her dad in particular - Lenny was a top top bloke, proper old skool east ender. Very good mates with Frank from eastenders actually, and the dads ex wife is cousins with ginger bianca from the same show... Anyways I'm going off the point...

The way they done Xmas present/gift wise was torture for me as a kid, they'd open one small present each when they got up in the morning and wouldnt have what I like to call... The Opening!
Not until around 5pm after..... Yeh After Xmas Dinner, then you got to open up everything.

My 1st year there (I was about 7yr old maybe) I went to bed early (as ya do in Xmas eve as a kid) and I woke up at around 5am Xmas day, looked at the bottom of my bed and there's a black bin bag with my name on it saying merry Xmas from santa....

So obviously I tare into it, takes me no time, it was all small silly things, smoke bombs, stink bombs, sweets.. **** like that, but there was a bag full so took me bout 20mins to open everything up....

I decide to got to the toilet and when I come back to the room my old man and his mrs are in there fully devistated that I'd torn into the presents without them being there to see me.... Never fuking occurred to me to wait for them tbh, I'm a 7 Yr old boy with a black bag of present at the bottom of my bed ffs what they expect <laugh>

so the lesson there is don't have stupid after dinner opening rules, not unless you want your kids to like you at least. :emoticon-0148-yes:
