Will the ego have landed by Saturday, apparently God has arrived at Deepdale. Is he the saviour or is he another Fergie Jnr.
Meanwhile as time drifts on Wycombe arrive at Deepdale this Saturday.
The Wanderers last performance was broadcast by Murdoch TV, they were well and truly railrhoded as Huddersfield main man bagged 5 goals against them in a 6-0 demolition.
Given their performance against Bournemouth the match before wasn't brilliant either this gives North End an excellent chance of winning at home for the first time since last September.
Depending who picks the team will be interesting. Wycombe to sneak a shock win don't rule it out.

Last two times we were beaten 6-0 (we try not to make a habit of it) we have come back with a 2-0 win.

Hopeful but you never know.

Who will stand up for WWFC and provide a Hakan Hayrettin style thunderbolt to steal the points? Will Kadeem Harris or Joel Grant deliver a Dave Carroll style solo effort or will John Halls play a blinder? Guess we will all have to wait and see!!

St Bernards aren't allowed on the pitch so that could hinder performance a bit.

Playing against the Wycombe defence is like Moses’s Parting of the Red Sea

There are 3 main reasons why Wycombe cannot win at present.
1. Barely existent defence
2. No team spirit
3. Tactically clueless manager

Until there are signs of the team spirit being rekindled I find it difficult to realistically predict anything but another defeat. I have no confidence whatsoever in our ability to not concede goals.

I look forward with cautious optimism to seeing the tide turn.

I can't believe that people aren't confident with a potential centre back pairing of Foster and Tunnicliffe!!!

I think Chalfont fans were probably quietly confident!
