As many of you are probably aware there has been a rise in the number of wums, trolls and other undesirable insects circling around our board recently. One of them has actually had the nerve to PM me with junk mail. After the recent events we can probably expect this - we could even see attempted reincarnations of Busybee/Gimme. There are various ways of coping with this. Best to ignore it completely and not engage in any way - that way an offending thread just slides down the page. Even better is to start your own thread about any of the hundreds of interests we have on here because this automatically moves the offending thread a bit lower.
I know I commented on it, but will ignore it now and I'm sure the thread will soon drop away on it's own accord (or when Dan/H closes it) Surprised so many people are interested in trolling 'little old Watford'
Quite right cologne, do not add to the thread in anyway and it will disappear soon enough. It does seem strange that people who we have never seen before are finding their way here. I wonder how they know about our recent spat?
It's just a pity that the 'ignore' button only stops the posts from these cretins from being displayed. Shame it didn't stop their threads too...
Come on - I am a statistician as you all know - what are the odds that the supermods leave our board with a threat that we are now going to be exposed to trolls that they claim they were protecting us from and mysteriously the next day we get targeted for the first time in 3 years. Who cares? There is no debate to be had with them as they are just abusive. Tells us how right we were in our opinions of one or two people.
I think they want us to ban them or to close their threads to prove how essential our "keepers" are. Let's just not post on their threads - and apologies - before I saw this thread I gave a similar comment on theirs - I wont make that mistake again.

If any of you had any delusions that Minxy and brb actually meant well and wanted to act responsibly then go to general chat and have a look. I do not usually visit there as it is a pretty unpleasant forum but thought I would see if trolls were being encouraged to visit us. Surprise surprise a thread has been started saying Watford (not their word) are not up for a fight. Now there is no evidence that anyone other than Gambol is behind it but draw your own conclusions from the timing. Now the supermods said they wont visit our board again (so of course they are not reading this ) but they presumably do have aduty still regarding the GC board. So why are they not removing a thread that is purely there to pick a fight with a board that is not interested? They ban GTH for what they call racism ( in fact all he said from posts I can see is "why do the BBC keep on showing Tiger Woods and not British golfers - is that racist?). But they do nothing about people trying to pick fights with a whole board. Cynical, double standards or what? Frankly I don't care but it does make me laugh but also wonder why Mick is so much in love with these two - maybe he cannot get anyone else to do the job.
Dave is far too intelligent - he knows we will thrash them and will consider a Watford win by only 5 goals as a good result
I deleted the thread coz it was a pathetic wind up attempt..sorry to hear it's being encouraged on GC.. I'll keep an eye out. Meanwhile I'm sure they, like all bullies, will get fed up eventually so we will all have to just ride it out... Like all good times of adversity it will bring us closer lol.
I've just been "asked" to let Leo know that the supermods have no jurisdiction over GC, so cannot delete any comments, but I bet they could encourage a poster to be naughty!
Nope, they have nothing to do with GC (luckily). GTH was an idiot who repeatedly broke the site rules after having been warned multiple times. You may have done research, but most of the stuff he said was probably deleted, I know he's made a few dodgy comments on here. No one on this site has a right to post on here...

Lucky for them they are not required to have jurisdiction over the GC as it would make thier life almost impossible. By he way Dave please let the supermods know that if they really DO want to honour their intention to resign I might very reluctantly be prepared to replace one of them - of course only if Mick likes me (and if I don't soon get banned for not being servile enough)
Toby - GTH may well be what you think he was and to be honest I only looked through his recent posts to see what got him banned - he said the final straw was apparently the Tiger Woods remark. On here as GTH he was a fairly poor quality WUM and annoyed many of us. As Busy Bee he seems to have tried to "beehave" ( ). It was not reallly about him though - it was about the right of H and Dan to mod our board. They do it well and if they were prepared to give a poster - any poster - a chance then is that not what we expect them to do without interference from outside? Of course nobody has any rights on here - we have seen that.
They have the rights allocated to them by the site owner, who has given 'vetoing' powers to the supermods he appointed. It costs you guys nothing to post here, and hosting a site is quite expensive, I honestly don't see what all this fuss is about... If he was a Watford fan that was treated harshly I'd understand a bit, but a random idiot who seems to annoy most people on here doesn't seem like a worthy cause to get so wound up about. If he only ever annoyed people on here I'd also think it was unfair for them to ban him without H asking them to either. My opinion on the matter is: 'Good Riddance'
I see another possible troll thread has been opened - Innocuous question initialy but someone who was involved in the deleted thread I think?
