Double posts, treble posts, quad posts, leave this page, stay on this page, posts disappearing, page freezing ?? I hope this gets sorted out PDQ or I'll have to start posting on the Pink Un board Seriously though, does anyone know what's going on ? I'm getting fed up with it now, it's been like this for days.
The same questions have been asked on other forums. I thought it was my connection initially, obviously not.

The site owner/administrator MalteseMick is currently on his hols in Spain I'm told, and is currently uncontactable. He's not due back for several days, and then he'll get onto it. Until then I think it's a case of grin and bear it, unfortunately. In the meantime, another mod (thanks Ricardo) has created a list of workarounds: 1) It's running incredibly slowly and not displaying error messages - be patient with it 2) The swear filter may or may not be working - keep posting as normal and within the rules. Once the filter has been fixed it will correct for those who've enabled the filter. 3) The thread shows there are 3 pages but when you try to load page 3 it just shows page 2 again - if you've got something to say about one of the posts on the first 2 pages then do so. Once you've done that the last page of the thread should show without a problem (other than because of the following issues). This issue only seems to affect threads where the last page only has 1 post on it (ie 21, 41, 61, 81 etc). You can reduce the impact of it by going into your control panel (top right) and selecting General Settings from the menu on the left hand side of the page. In the thread display options on that screen you can change the number of posts per page from the default 20 up to 40. If you do that you obviously only have this problem at 41, 81, 121 etc posts instead of twice as often. 4) When opening a new thread there's no post there to reply to - it's the same problem as 3), it just displays itself differently here. Same solution. 5) When making a post it asks if you're sure about leaving the page - your post is probably in the system and already displaying. Select stay on page or cancel (next time I get it I'll correct this post) or which ever option it is that isn't leave page. Copy the content of your post just in case, go to the main forum page and reopen the thread. If your post is there it's all good, if it's not then paste into the quick reply box and post it. If you click leave page then you end up double posting. 6) Internal Server Error 500 - The post you've just made is in the system. It may not display immediately so wait a while because it will more than likely appear without you needing to repost it. 7) Internal Server Error 503 - refresh the page. If you've just made a post and get this error then unfortunately it's not in the system. Use the back button to go back to a screen it can load and try again. 8) Database error - just keep refreshing the page until it loads Yeah, I realise it's not ideal but mods can't do anything unfortunately. It's only an intermittent problem, so we'll just keep deleting double posts when we can. Sorry everyone.

And it can't be fixed until goal line technology is in place or Rio Ferdinand passes a drug test that Joey Barton can verify
