He tried to cripple bale in 2011 putting bale out for the final 3 or 4 games of the season. He got sent off for liverpool at the beginning of the following season against us for 2 bad tackles. He then tried to cripple bale in a friendly last summer. And today he gets sent off against us.... Who at spurs shagged his mrs?
The armchair psychiatrist might say it was our half-hearted interest in him during the January 2011 transfer window.
We have had some mediocre players at Spurs in my time of supporting them however I would swap none of them for Charlie Adam. Thank God we never signed him.
Charlie Adam is a Thug, with a peppering of skill. A bit like Joey Barton, they both posses the ability to be really good players, but it seems like some bad wiring in their brains just brings out the nob in them both, over and above any contribution they make to the game.
He shouldn't be plying his "trade" anywhere. He's a disgusting thug who should be thrown out of the game, before he ends some unfortunate opponent's career.
Spurs fans were on Adam's back right from the kick off. He was trying too hard to silence the crowd and got himself sent off for it!
And why were the crowd on his back? Not that that excuses his behaviour today, or his long list of previous.
Seems ironic that his worst ever challenge was the one on Bale at the Lane for Blackpool and he didn't get a red for it. That one was 100% GBH.
And your lot couldn't make enough noise to drown them out after scoring 3 minutes into the game? I smell something.....
well of course we were, as if we were going to let the opposition get onto one of our players. Loved his big smile as his cross went in off Nzonzi's head
Well if you were doing such a good job keeping our supporters quiet, why did HE need to shut them up? Personally I loved the way he was shaking his head in disbelief as he went for an early (not early enough) bath. Not that bright is he?
Adam's just too slow for the Premier League. He can't keep up, so he has to resort to clogging everyone in sight, instead. He's like a **** Paul Scholes without Fergie protecting him.
I think he's worse than that. There's something almost psychopathic about him. He is one of those individuals that I detest, and that no sport needs. One who deliberately tries to cause injury to another player. If he'd done what he did to Bale a couple of years ago anywhere else, he'd have been done for GBH. It was nothing less than deliberate assault with intent to injure Bale.
