Perhaps people will realise after a loan window and a transfer window we are no better than when Sven was here? I still think we should have gave him more time. If Steve Howard is plan B then I give up!!!!
Completely agree with the OP but couldn't disagree more with Running Fox. Prices are astronomical in the JTW and clubs only loan their players to teams running away with the league or who are able/willing to pay their wages.
I'd rather play Pantsil than Peltier to be honest. Just because Pantsil couldn't cope with Lallana's pace and trickery (who has done this season) doesn't make him a bad player. I don't see what Peltier brings to the team anymore. Same goes fo Gallagher, King, Howard and St Ledger. Players need to leave before we sign anyone this summer. Strip the club down to the players who are actually going to be of use and then see where we need to strengthen. Players we could look at; Howard to be replaced by Gary Madine or Chris Wood? Gallagher to be replaced by Cameron Stewart or Matt Phillips or Adam Hammill? King to be replaced by Adam Clayton or Liam Trotter or Graham Dorrans? St Ledger to be raplaced by James Chester or Anthony Gerrard? Peltier to be replaced by Kyle Naughton or Kevin McNaughton? Jermaine Beckford to be replaced by Jay Rodriguez or Jamie Vardy or Simon Cox? The squad has talent but not attitude. The players above have both and are 'Pearson players'.
dorrans is starting again and Phillips is going to the prem i think (possibly with blackpool!!). And Naughton is never going to drop to the championship again after his season with Norwich (hate seeing him wasted at LB though). There will be players available though, just have th be competitive with the birminghams/west hams to get them!!
