Good to see Wrexham on top at this time, but sad to see our old enemy doing so poorly.
I was there that night 2-0 in front of 35.000 or so!
 
Old 3rd division not 4th. My first away game was to Hereford when I was 13 or 14 years old, told my father I was going to watch Cardiff play in Hereford & he thought I was joking, he wasn't impressed when I strolled in around midnight and grounded me for the next month. Nowadays the neighbours would be calling social services on both of us.
 
35,000 was the official figure but there was a lot more than that there, we were like sardines on the Bob Bank.
