Just listened to Hodgson before tonights game and he said that it's not a player's performance in the 90 minutes or so in an England game that counts but it's how that player is performing for his club that counts as to his inclusion in the England squad - that's rubbish Woy!!. If it was the case ShawX would be at Wembley tonight, Smalling would be sat at home!
Smalling would most definitely be at home. As a Stokie Shawcross gets my shout, but there's also Curtis Davies, who I think deserves a chance. Got a few cockneys at work saying James Tomkins should be in the squad, but I've not seen much of West Ham this season so can't really comment. And then there's Cleverly... Has anyone seen the online petitions to ban him from the England squad? I'm pleased Shaw got picked though, although I'm not sure why Woy seems to like Southampton so much, they're the only ones apart from the top 4 (+ united) that he gives a chance.
Well that is absolute garnish from Hodgson. On that basis Ryan would be there now rather than banished after 20 minutes against Sweden. Disgusted. Greetings from France
It is just because they were quite high up but now they were playing relatively well, defo have Lallana in for Cleverly, his passes yesterday and in the BPL have brilliant.
