England might as well get Doink the Clown as manager cos they're a bunch of bloody jokers whenever they step on the pitch

West Brom comfortably mid-table, not a bad job. I can see him getting us to the quarter-finals at a major tournament.

I had typed out a reply and then realised you were being cunningly sarcastic.

This decision to offer Woy alone an offical interview for the England job shows exactly how clueless the English FA really are.

They simply don't want to cough £10m for 'Arry right now, so they will give 'scape goat' Woy the job of failing at the Euro's... Harry sees the remaining year of his contract and takes over this time next year.

Poor old Woy. He failed massively at Liverpool, so the FA think he'll perform better in an even bigger job?

    <laugh>

    **** the English FA - clueless ****s.

Woy's league record at Liverpool is about the same as King Kenny's without the massive transfer funds

woy was treated badly at LFC and never given a chance

As for those calling for 'Arry, I just dont see why TBH. The man is useless
There are those who talk of his 'man management' well ask the like sof bent, defoe, pav etc what they think of his man management

Harry man manages the people that matter.

Rolling down the window of his car at the Spurs training ground and throwing the hacks 'Arrys thoughts on everyone and everything keeps the media sweet. That is man management at its best.

Roy is a good manager if given the right opportunity and support.

I don't think they'd switch on Harry as quickly as they did with Taylor. In a different era, Harry gives them more bang for their buck.

Taylor never recovered did he? He did great things with that Villa side.

Harry needs to shut the **** up and concentrate on the job he's paid for

I don't know how Daniel Levy puts up with him rabbiting on about wanting rival clubs to do well, saying Tottenham players want to leave and insulting the fans/players he doesn't rate

personally I dont think there is much difference TBH. The media build and will break ALL england managers, they seem to get a kick out of it

The only difference this time around is the added xenophobia regarding a foreign coach

As for taylor he was always weak for me as a person, or some may say 'nice' which does seem to be like woy IMO

We are f***ed as a team, as a squad, for English managers available & for the future.

Watch the euro´s at your own peril in terms of the football (England) & the safety aspect.

    I'm looking forward to it.

Watching England getting knocked out in the quarter finals by some stroke of misfortune (incorrectly disallowed goal, incorrectly allowed goal, and my favourite: penalties) is a tradition.

It´ll be **** but still 10 times better that watching the SPL next season. I mean what´s the point in it ? Enjoy getting excited when you win a pointless lge by about 30 points. No doubt you´ll all be watching the EPL for that 'football fix'
