...fair play to the lad. Probably an undeserved win, but typical fighting Ipswich...!!

I'd probably say S hunt was motm, along with the Bart. Draw would've been the right result, but looks like we're getting the rub of the green...looks like it could be our year.

"Typical fighting Ipswich" is not an epithet we've been accustomed to for too long to remember before Mick sorted us out.

I looked askance when I heard about the Noel Hunt signing, but if I stopped questioning Mick’s decisions after Connor Sammon started doing a good job for us I’ve finished for good now.

I didn't say he was doing a "great" job, I said he's done a good job for us so far. He's put some good shifts for us before and today he might not have been brilliant but he still did a job in the last ten minutes winning the ball, harrying the enemy and drawing defenders.

His goal record isn't fantastic and we probably saw why today, but Mick and TC clearly spotted the role he can fulfil.

Harrying maybe but giving the ball straight back to the opposition and screwing up a great opportunity. He was gash, as was Skuse but i actually thought Tabb was pretty good today, far more involved than Skuse!!

Barty got mom from me today, done some good saves plus his kicking and handling was top notch.

Have not seen the whole game yet, did not get in from our game this morning 'till H/T. I thought Skuse had a decent 2nd half, broke up play, made some decent interceptions and for the most part used the ball well.

Was quite pleased with us signing Noel Hunt, good player in the system we adopt.

If only we could send the Sammon back to Derby next.....

Sammon should have scored yesterday, took to long to get his shot off, however he does run the channels well and is handy in our box at the death?
