I´ve just witnessed for myself N. Redmond´s beauty As good as they come I would say, One of those each week, he´ll have done his duty Out on the lush green field of play, Talent he´s always had, that we all know In bucketloads for one so young, But if he can add scoring to his bow His praises really will be sung, In fact all four goals were well worth a look Good movement, on and off the ball, The roars made me fear that the old stands had shook But I see they´re standing after all, From what I saw everyone played their part Even those maligned in the past, Whittaker, Grabban and Wes showed their art As soon as the first die was cast, As regards Whittaker, I think A. Neil Has handled him smartly with guile, After the Brentford game and fans appeal He could have dumped him for a while, But the vote of confidence seems to me To have worked wonders for his game, I know it was Blackpool but still, hopefully From now we´ll get more of the same. Err, it wasn't half bad huh? Shame it wasn't Bechkham, Bale, Messi (insert top name here). Could have watched it hundreds of time on Sky Sports news today.
Copy my or OCF's predictions then It wont help you win anything but you will get more than 5 most weeks
That's the thing - the further you slip behind the more you feel you have to go against the grain, and you just slip further back!
I don't think I've seen a better free-kick goal scored at Carrow Road in all my 45 years supporting City ! As previously stated, had it been scored by Ronaldo, Bale, Rooney, Gerrard, etc. etc. The media would have been pant wetting over it. The only one I can think of, that might get close, was Ian Crook against Forest on NCFC's first ever live game on Sky Sports, which we won 3-1 (92/93 season)
I agree, Hooper's final touch before he shoots is brilliant, takes the ball away from the defender, absolute class!
Was that at the Barclay end, Thai ? because I´m not sure which game it was in, but I do remember Crook scoring with an absolute peach at the Barclay end, with one that just grazed the bar as it went in. Brings back some memories
One goal that always sticks in my mind as kevin Reeves when he ran from around the half way line to slot the ball home beating a couple of defenders on the way. Pretty sure it was against Manchester United and it was scored at the River End.
