i'm not sure i can put into words how much the answer should be a resounding NO! but i'll try... first of all, he is the most ghastly human being in football right now. an obscene bloke, truly obscene. secondly, if his team ever lose, its the referees fault or even better, the scottish FAs, he has spent as long in the stands banned as he has on the touchline, he manages in one of the weakest divisions (competitively speaking rather than ability) in european football and only won the league when his only competitor was completely crippled - they'd been crippled for the previous two years and STILL beaten them to the title. i mean, if you want any more reasons why he'd be a terrible appointment, disastrous in fact, then just ask
Would be nice if you could reserve your opinions for football matters, rather than these truly distasteful and unnecessary remarks. He's had death threats, parcel bombs, suffered religious and racial abuse, assaulted by a fan whilst on the pitch, yes he's certainly obscene isn't he. Of course, he's the first manager to moan about referees, and criticising the SFA? We'd never complain about our FA, would we. I wouldn't mind having him here in the least.
personally i trust mcnally to make the right call. if it is to be 'lenny' i would still back him 100% but my word (i'm not butch wilkins if that's what you're thinking) he is an appalling character and a rank average manager
Bristol City fan in peace here. I heard about the Lennon rumour and wanted to see what the general opinion would be on his appointment. I don't know why, but I quite like Norwich, I have done since the day a few years ago, when that fan tore his season ticket up in Gunn's face. As for Lennon, I would be TERRIFIED if he came to your club. He is League 2 competency at VERY best. He is now a manager in a one horse race league with an abysmal record of thuggish behaviour on the pitch as a player and off the pitch as a coach. No class, and no real talent. Look at the likes of Gordon Strachan, a below average manager at championship level, yet a hero in the scottish league. Now he is giving his unwanted analysis as a pundit. I rate Lennon on much the same level as Roy Keane, and lets face it, Roy Keane isn't good enough even with bags of money behind him. Good luck next year.
i'd happily take steve bruce ahead of neil lennon. **** it, i'd take roy keane before lennon! and i'm being totally serious
I haven't seen this rumour but I would honestly rather have.....steve Bruce than Lennon that's how low I rate him as a manager
Has to be a no from me, but, had I been asked before the appointment of Paul Lambert, I would have said no to him! Make of that what you will!
i think we all would. that was born out of a lack of knowledge of his management record though. can't claim we don't know about lennon!
