Would you want Begovic instead of Lindegaard? We Stoke fans want him to broaden his horizons and join a better club, so that he becomes a better player. But will you accept him? If he does go to you, he won't dissapoint.
Why do you want him to join a better club? Surely you want to hang onto your best players? And if they do leave then surely you'd like them to make an impact and prosper at the new club and not sit on the bench for 90% of the season?
Instead of Lindegaard definitely. But I doubt Begovic would join Utd and risk being number 2 if De Gea keeps improving next year.
This. De Gea has made the spot his to lose, and if his improvement over the past 12 months is anything to go by, he'll have a grip on that for the next 15+ years.
