Say it happened and the new manager walks out after a month, how many of you would be calling for Colin to come back? I liked the guy and thank him for what he did for my Club, and do feel a bit of sympathy for the way things turned out but I wouldn't want him back, we need to move on and we need to retain PL status for this club to move on with better players a new ground etc. Be honest how many would really welcome him back?
I love him but it would be impossible. In a few years? If he wanted it Im sure he'd be welcomed back with open arms but in a month or so I think behind the scenes the complications would be endless. That said Id be happy. But that's just me.
No. If we want to move forward and be a force in the prem, Neil can't be part of the plans. His job is done. Maybe that's the way it was intended?
I was just wondering how many people who treated him as some god like figure would actually welcome him back, and I feel sentiment is a lot of what people are spouting.
Great point as I doubt if the current top five managers could get any team out of the championship for me toughest league out there ... It gets bad coverage but any team in it can on their day beat any of the teams below 7th
Definitely NO as we have ambitions to be a regular premier league club. Right decision at the right time
His man-management skills were superb and his motivational skills. Generally, he recognised good players and brought them in. But tactically, he was pedestrian. Regrettably I don't think he has what it takes in the Prem.
