Looks like Everton are going to part ways with Big Sam with Marco Silva lined up to be his replacement..... So the question is going to be asked... would you take Big Sam as manager? Personally I would granted he's getting on a bit but he's got Bolton promoted to the Premier League and then in to Europe. He's got Everton to 8th in the Premier League and he's the only England I know with a 100% record
I'd take him in a heartbeat. He knows how to organise a team. No matter what league you're in, if you're organised & everyone knows their jobs, then you've got a head start on everyone else. I also don't think a DoF will faze him either, as if you look at his record, he's been appointed to a number of teams in trouble & had little opportunity to sign 'his' players - yet achieved! I wonder if he'd take PH into his team with a view to moulding him into his successor? Sadly, I think there is zero chance of this happening. To a lesser extent, I'd be happy with Moyes too, should he become available. Wenger, no - we'd have loads oof arty-farty, tippy-tappy trouncings. .
I feel dirty saying it but I agree with wj about Sam.. But Moyes no thanks he is fecking useless. Another Pardew as far as I am concerned, ****e everywhere after one lucky season at Everton. Going for a bath now.
Big Sam not my favourite manager by a long way but he would certainly liven things up. He could even tell Orta and Radz what football is all about, will never happen of course. Moyes,Pardew,Wenger, well it's a no from me.
I'd take big Sam. Couple of seasons of ****e football but a promotion in the mix. A managers life span is so short now it would be worth it
Being able to afford is not the same as being willing to pay. Rads business model is built on cheap **** and turning a profit.
Nope. We've never paid any manager as much as Sam gets paid, whatever Radz business plan is. It's ridiculous to even suggest him.
If you don’t approach him you don’t know what he would accept. Can’t see him being flooded with prem clubs wanting him.
Put it this way if Big Sam was going to Russia instead of the prick Southgate I would expect us getting close to the WC final. Stupid scouse bufoons get rid of the guy who saved them, kept them in the Prem and for the games hes been in charge got them 30points which is top 5 form in Prem ahead of Arsenal and even Man City & Chelsea in that time frame So yes the most underrated manager in a heartbeat
