So Bendtner is 100% certain he is going to leave Arsenal this window. Would you have him here.

Our current strikeforce comprises of Lovenkrands and Ameobi (who fail to muster more than 10 goals a season between them) and Best who leaves me unconvinced still.

Bendtner is, IMO, a massive step up from them. He finds places hard to come by on the Arsenal team as I feel he doesn't suit their walk it into the net brand of footy. I feel he would be ideal for us to (hoping against all hope) partner Gameiro.

Bendter is big and strong so makes a good target man, he is quite skillful on the ball and he can fairly strike a ball and knows where the back of the net is - see NUFC vs Arsenal in Carling Cup. With him as a taget man also allowing layoffs to Gameiro and their differing threats giving defences multiple different problems to deal with I feel they would be a great strike partnership and could well provide 15 goals a season each.

Now I know he is a cocky so-and-so (i actually think he is hilarious) but could you see past this?

    An attacking/mid-field line-up of

    Gervinho --- Tiote ----Ben Arfa/Cabaye ----- Jonas/Ben Arfa

    --------------Bendtner/Ben Arfa ---- Gameiro---------------

    would be incredibly strong!

Note: we have incredible numbers in midfield now and im struggling to know where to fit them all in. The different positions for Ben Arfa demonstrate where we can mix it all up depending on needs

arrogant, doesnt seem to give 100 percent. I remember him saying his ambition was to be the best player in the world.

Ambition is nice but obviously thinks alot of himself.

    its a no from me.

Haven't read it all (looked too long an article) but in relation to the article name Yes and No. Yes I think he is good player. No due to his contract and the fact he will think he is bigger than the team. (plus we would have to get extra wide doors to fit his head through, which would cost us even more money)

Would have him as second choice, would probably suit our style of play next summer. Would take him but no more than 7mil, at a push.

Your right there's not, but I also think he wants the world to revolve around him and therefore could disrupt out dressing room.

seems im alone on this. After half a year of enduring a partnership of Shola and Lover im surprised to find people would turn their nose up at Bendtner

I would take him for free and on low wages, but that is never going to happen. He is better than Shola and Lover, but we know we have money in the kitty to find someone better than Bendter <ok>

I would like to agree but the mojority of transfer money available (if Gervinho and Cabaye do sign) seems to have gone into increasing the numbers in an already crowded midfield pot. Critical weaknesses in defence and a desperate striking situation are yet to be addressed.

To expand on my original 'No he's ****e.' comment, I think his attitude isn't the main problem. He has a poor attitude which shows arrogance and not confidence. He thinks he's Arsenal's best striker, he thinks he is amazing. Instead of being confident and saying how he'll score goals and take his chance, he moans about not getting a chance when he has had plenty!

His career goalscoring record in the league is worse than 1 in 4, he is pretty much a donkey. 22 league goals in the last 4 seasons. That's the same as Shola has got in his last 4 full Premiership seasons! And similar goals per games ratio in the Premiership(worse in the Championship) to Lovenkrands!

I completely agree with you, i'd take Bendtner definitely. I doubt many people have seen him play much before, just the few odd Champions League appearances. He's been linked with Bayern so he'd obviously prefer a move to them but for about £7m-£9m i'd take him. Given one full season with a good strike partner and good wingers i reckon he'd get 20 goals.

How much do you think Arsenal will ASK for him. £10m? £15m? definitely not worth £10m
