I'm being serious here. I think as a short term thing Barton would jump at the chance... but fatty may not want him back given some of his twitter ramblings..

    yes.

He had the much needed backbone. Not the greatest player in the world but at least he got stuck in. Perhaps a little too much at times.

Yes, get him back but ban him from social media.

Certainly! I know I shouldn't like him, but I think he's a great player with a load of passion. I'd love him back here.

Please nobody give me a rundown on his background, I know he's an arse.

But I would take him back as a short term repacement.

I would also take Nolan back too!

Bring him back. He'd chin some of the Frenchies who weren't giving 100%

Barton may have been a dick at times but his love of the club was never in question. Good player as well.

Nolan never wanted to leave probably. Forced out by Ashley. The guy would get everyone dying for the club. Same with Barton.

Nolan, Carroll for sure, but l don't think Joey would survive the madness, wearing his heart on his sleeve and his brain up his jacksee, is not a good recipe for success in our particular brand of asylum.
Would love to see his love of and passion for the club replicated in some of pur current crop of limpwristed fairies, but not fair to expect Joey to cope with it.

I'd have Barton back here all day long as I never wanted to him to go in the first place. It would never happen though

Joey might put a flea in their ears and make them pick up and get on with it.

Seems clear that they were moved out BECAUSE of their strength of character, not in spite of. You cannot tell it how it is at this club anymore. The manager's spineless as is the team.

I'd rather have Nolan back when he was here the team spirit seemed to be brilliant he seems to unite a dressing room as well as motivate on the pitch and scores goals! Is it coincidence the team spirit seems to have warned since he has left
