Juventus have been for a long time my unofficial second team and it seems there are a trio of players very close to the exit doors at Del Alpi.

Firstly, Del Piero who will not have his contract renewed at the end of this season. I heard a rumour a few weeks ago that we were interested but I'm not sure how big his wages would be.

Secondly there is Amauri. Amauri is a Brazilian born striker who hasn't really impressed at Juve however he has had some decent loan spells at other clubs.

Last but not least there is Milos Krasic a Serbian right winger who Juventus only signed last season for 15m euros. His agent has pretty much confirmed that he will be leaving the club soon.

All three have expressed their desire to play in England. Would you take any of them? More importantly do you think we could get any of them?

Del Piero is too old and wouldn't come anyway.

Welcome to the forum, by the way!

Welcome to the forum geezer. To answer your question, I'd rather we signed Sol Campbell again than Del Piero. Don't know enough about the other two tbh.

Krasic is class on FIFA, if he's that good in real life I'd definitely have him. I love Del Piero but he's too old now, just isnt feasible.

A newbie!!!!! Hello sir and welcome to the forum, do take a look at the thread dictionary.

As for the OP, I would have to say no to all of them.

Personally I'd take all 3 of them:

Krasic- is dubbed the next Nedved and although it hasn't completely worked out for him at Juventus , he is in a differen't class in most areas (if not all apart from pace) compared to Obertan in my opinion,.

Amauri is abit of a battering ram and I think his play would suite the Premier League, if anything he is very good back-up. However his wages and wanting first team football every week puts me off him slightly... If going for under 7 Mil and less then 45k a week then yes I would get him.

Del Piero- I think he is abit like Gigg's and although old still has alot to offer, italian players seem to age alot slower maybe it is their league. It would also be a PR gold mine for the club and may attract other potential signings! If clubs are considering Beckham then surely Del Piero is good enough.

Del Piero yes for the sentimental value that we had Italian legend del Piero but he is a little old

As mentioned above I'd love Krasic if he's as good in real life as on FIFA !

Del Piero as a player/coach? Perhaps. Otherwise, wouldn't touch him with a bargepole, I'm afraid. If he was player/coach, he might be able to school some of the young players perhaps.

I'd take the Serb, but I expect he's on massive wages.

Del pieros an absolute legend but he's got to be to old for us. He must be about 43 now he seems to have been around as long as I can remember football!

Don't know too much about the others but there not French so probs just give them a miss

This. I'll also take Krasic in a heartbeat. He made 41 apps and scored 9 goals last season. Quality act. He would be too good for us IMO.. plus he's 27, on high wages, he's not French and would demand Champions League football. He'll go to Chelsea/United/Liverpool/Man City even.. but not us.

Interesting thread for your first post. The other 2 would be a no but a yes for Krasic, if he would take 40k per week. But I suspect he'd want as much as 70.
