Would you swap Cattrermole for Song ??

    Serious question, not here for an argument. I am trying to guage how fans of other top 10 teams rate Alex Song. Would you swap Cattermole for Song if given the chance ?

    I don't rate Song, I don't think he is creative even though he has a few assists this season, defensively he is nothing special. Thought you guys would prefer Cattermole over Song to be honest, surely if you gave Cattermole more license to go forward he's have a few more assists ??? He passes and shoots better than Song and he can defend.

    In reality, Catts is a better player FOR US, as he binds a lot together, and is certainly a leader and a voice on the park.

    He's better defensively than Song (who in reality should have more career red cards than him), but Song is streets ahead in terms of passing and movement, Songs carries the ball well, even if his end product is hit & miss.

    It's close, but I think Song would offer us a wee bit more, but as I said, Catts does give us a lot.

    Song has had a poor season, for sure.

    You clearly haven't watched Catts that much, the guy dosn't go forward and as for his shooting ,well............
    Would take Song any day of the week
