So, would you rather: 1) ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã45 Mil + Sturridge 2) ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã35 Mil + Anelka 3)ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã30 mil + Drogba 4) ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20 mil and he's sold to Barca in the summer I think I'd take the Drogba offer, only fantasy mind you.
None of those. 45mil + Sturridge if i have to pick. I actually don't mind Sturridge, he's young, has potential and I think given time he could be a good striker. Anelka and Drogba are both past it. 20m to Barca? Why would we ever accept that?
50Million, no players. As long as all of it was put into the transfer kitty. Wouldn't take Drogba or Anelka, both past it. So yeah. As much money as we can get, then bring in Aguero. Aguero and Suarez. Imagine.
I'd want ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã40m + Kalou I'd also settle for ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã30m + Essien Drogba is 33 in March (and I hate him!)
I'd take ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20m plus Essien, he's easily Chelsea's best player.
40m + Anelka. Regardless of age Anelka still has it, then 40m in the transfer window to buy a striker & a winger
That's a good shout, I'd be happy with that although I'd push for 35M ;-) If they want our prize asset make them break the bank!!
Forget Essien, very unlikely to happen. I would take 40 plus Anelka for sure. We should of signed him proper the first time round! I think that would be good business on our part. Cashing in may be a blessing in disguise. It could leave us with Anelka and Suarez upfront, with 40mill to play with to get the likes of Young. Thats quality. Torres hasnt offered much this season- I bet Anelka and Suarez would. The more I think about it the more I want it to happen!
I'd actually prefer more money and Sturridge to be honest. I see potential in Sturridge, he has started to grow in the eyes of Chelsea fans, and I know they don't want him to leave.
Yup I supose you're right. Him and Suarez up front could be a realy good thing as they're both young and will likely stay for some years. The most important thing for me is getting the 40mill, the player is a bonus! This enables us to get Young (summer), and gives us a bit for a right midfield player. We have major work to do this summer. All around the team needs improving. CB, LB, RM, LM. Maybe even another CM, or a CM. Getting another striker from Chelsea will put that problem at the back seat for a while, especialy if we chose to play one up front.
CM or Defensive midfielder is what I meant to put. I hope we blood Wilson this year, which will at least show us whether we need to invest at CB straight away. Kelly has been a revelation.
The worlds worst kept secret is that we need wide players. I'd love to get Ashley Young and I'd quite like Joe Cole to start getting a game, both won't happen in this transfer window though.
Kenny to talk him out of the transfer request, causing Chelsea to continue to decline while we're resurgent. Maybe the plan all along was to sidetrack Chelsea from signing anybody else before the window closes. Hey, it makes as much sense as anything else in this saga. I'd rather let Kenny have as much cash as possible to pump up an emergency buy than take a player he hasn't considered.
