No. Unfortunately, even though he has not been convicted of anything, the guy is going to cop abuse at every ground he visits. We can do without that distraction
Any team that would have him would be seen to be condoning what he seems to have done . . . . an acceptance that would probably be vilified by everyone else. I've got no doubt, whatsoever, that he'll be very disruptive in the dressing room, too, whichever one he ends up in.
No. Too much baggage and press attention. No, he wasn't found guilty of anything, nor was he proven innocent (not that proving one's innocence is a requirement of UK law of course) The social media stuff, the alleged recordings and the nature of how evidence was withdrawn all suggests something murky I'd be steering well clear - we don't need that sort of attention after recent events
On reflection, he's probably the perfect signing for the mags. They won't have an issue with his alleged deeds
The club is gaining a wonderful reputation ... ... more to lose than gain with players like him. No from me.
The media and panellists who like to have a go at Safc for any reason would be delighted at the opportunity. But they would totally wet themselves with pleasure when suddenly remembering Adam Johnson and the chance of “ doubling up” and calling it a trend at the club
Sponsors would run a mile from being associated with him, even on a free would prove a very expensive signing.
