    Intellectual in peace.

Unlike the last time you were in a relegation battle where you did, to coin a phrase 'gan doon' after your hero Alan Shearer played 3 at the back against Villa (yet is still deemed suitable to pass judgement on other managers on MOTD every week for a huge license-fee-funded salary), this time you survived. And I think it's fantastic for the EPL that you did as the league needs a strong NUFC - had you gone down this time, far from romping through the Championship as you did last time, with the negative aroma surrounding St James' and MA's notorious reluctance to invest, I for one think there would be a genuine chance of you having done a Leeds United this time if you'd gone down.

May I point out that if you'd kept Pardew you'd have been pushing Champions League considering the points that AP acquired for both yourselves and Palace. I just wonder if you think now might be the time, with NUFC at its lowest ebb, bereft of confidence and missing all of the sheen that the mid 90s brought, to bring back the very catalyst of all of that excitement - King Kev himself?

Last time he was there, KK talked of securing the signatures of Henry, Beckham and Lampard - it may well now be possible to bring all three in without even forking out a transfer fee considering Lampard is available for free and Beckham and Lampard would both be free transfers if brought out of retirement. This would fulfil part of Kev's previous set of requests, the signing of the aforementioned three professionals, although I doubt the previously sought £200 million warchest would be forthcoming. KK would also inspire some loyalty amongst the Geordie faithful and would love to reintroduce the freewheeling attractive football craved by the NUFC faithful?

KK unfortunately is old hat . We need to look for a youngish, modern thinking coach such as Eddie Howe or the like if we are to progress. PLEASE don't bring in the Brolly Walley or The Goblin otherwise be prepared for massive drop in attendances.

Is this the original DMW or yet another imposter? I need to know what level of wummery to expect and whether it will be cleverly delivered and sneakily twisted, or just the usual boring attempts.

I am a relative newbie here but as I understand it:
    DMW begat Boro Gully
Boro Gully begat The Great Escape
Now The Great Escape has re-begat D mW
This certainly has all the makings of the original DMW with a sly reference to the inescapable brilliance of Alan Pardew so don't rise to the bait. The answer to his question is:
No - we want a new young manager with some progressive ideas who preferably doesn't play 10 left backs, who isn't programmed for mid-table mediocrity, who doesn't abuse old men, nut opposing players and do a runner when the going gets tough. It would also help if he doesn't dribble when he talks and think he's the best manager in the league after a run that would have had him removed from running a Sunday School team

Is this the real DMW or that Hacky Sack ****er who has basically spoilt the forum? ACS - One of the reasons I left and others don't post is you just let that cock knocker run wild being immature. We can't even have a serious discussion.

Put us out of our misery: Are you the Orb himself or just another wannabe ?

I say wannabe: he has produced a reasonable imitation of the Orb but it all seems a bit derivative

"May I point out that if you'd kept Pardew you'd have been pushing Champions League considering the points that AP acquired for both yourselves and Palace."

Got up to this point and lost interest. You clearly weren't paying attention to the truth of how Pardew was for us. His final year for us (a full 38 premiership games) garnered 1.1 points per game and we had the worst goal difference of any team in the league. Yes we really were on a trajectory towards champions league football.

Whether Orb or wannabe, he has no interest in the truth.

On reflection, it can't be the Orb himself - - he would never be able to let half a dozen comments be posted without jumping back in with intellectual in peace wummery

If it's a wind up then you have to be impressed at the dedication to preparation. 'Joined August 2011' a full 3 years before the fake DMW dribbled out of Hacky's Sack.

Back on topic.. you need to keep up to speed fella.
We don't crave 'freewheeling attractive football'... just a club who try to give a rats arse... although we were freewheeling to the championship for the second half of the season...

Yes I am the 'real' DavidMoyesWife of popular BBC 606 acclaim. I'm not sure how I can 'verify' the fact, but perhaps my recollection that some gentleman once bet me that NUFC would finish above Everton and if I lost (I didn't, NUFC actually got relegated that season after Shearer played 3 at the back against Liverpool) I'd have to donate to the Bobby Robson cancer charity would count as proof, if that gentleman is on this forum?

I accept your warm welcome, although I would've preferred more posts addressing the actual intellectualism within my original article and answering questions within, rather than merely asking if I am actually DavidMoyesWife - the answer to that questions lies within yourselves; you know that nobody else can dedicate sufficient energy and resource to the task of holding a mirror up to the geordie faithful, in a way that you can't possibly do yourselves due to being in such close proximity to the club. I offer that service, all coupled with a virulent strain of intellectualism that (without wishing to toot my own horn) is clearly lacking in the average Not606 poster.
