We all agree that we don't want anyone poaching our young talent. BUT we also all know that it happens, and if we make some decent money out of it then its not a total waste. I'm just curious as to whether Man U would have any agreements to take a % of any fees ; after all they have invested a lot in these youngsters through their academy system and I can see them wanting something back. Any body out there have any info on this?
As far I know, yes we would. I believe we only keep 90% of the fee for Mark Oxley, Major loss that could be
I believe all the Man United lads have a 15% sell on clause and we have to give the Gooners 25% when we flog Simpson.
Simpson might be good bet under the current system ,tho its expected he will make the move permanent in Jan
Manu make money out of the factory system. They hoover them all up when young (stars in their eyes) put them through the factory, keep the very few thought to PL destined etc, flog the rest at £300k upwards (less than they cost overall).
WELL FROM WHAT IS KNOWN IN PUBLIC AND WHAT IVE BEEN TOLD.......NON OF THEM WILL GO IN JANUARY. END OF. the rest is down to the future - luck and promotion. I think then our rivals have more to worry about than us. If our rivals start losing there key players then that helps US. Everything else remains in the Lap of the Gods.
Who has told you then? As we know nothing about whether they will go or won't go, but lets be honest if a PL team come in for any of our players now i highly doubt that they would turn it down.
