http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/mar/20/luis-suarez-liverpool-champions-league-club He'll go if the money is right.
Cos the guardian says so Funny what you would believe when you want to so badly So, how much do you think is a fair price btw, curious. I do doubt he would join Chelsea over Real or Barca anyways, he can pretty much take his pick if he is going, it won't be Chelsea, that's the only certainty in all of this.
This all sounds just like the kind of things Lafferpool fans said about Alonso,Mascherano and Torres. Remind me where they are all playing now? Still Lafferpool is it? Now to answer the question. No, I don't think he's what we need. We need an out an out striker to play in front of Mata,Hazard and Oscar etc and he isn't that.
No, for many reasons. He is a good player but there are much better out an out strikers out there who would be available for similar money. He really isn't the type of player we need and he'd cost at least 10 million more than his worth because Liverpool would be selling to a 'rival'. Can't stand the bloke either, would really hope this doesn't happen (which frankly it wont).
He's quality and has shown he can finish this season, something that was lacking a year ago. Pity is we should have signed him when we signed Torres. But right now he would cost 45m+ which isn't ideal for a striker that isn't an out and out striker Speaking if rival players we could be interested in . . . Yaya Toure anybody?
he aint going anywhere wishful thinking. Noone said Torres wasn't going anywhere cept Torres "Liverpools fans" lol do you say that cos you got no quotes, not even worth arguing with you aren't Also bollox about Alonso and Mascerano, my jebus, someone will you educate this fool, I dont wum here but this idiot is just so stupid it's not funny, Masc we knew was leaving a YEAR before alonso was driven out and was going for def months before he did Now you think you can sign Suarez
Better, like RvP? Torres? "he's a good player" one of the best in the world according to anyone with an unbiased brain
Putting myself out there to be shot down given his form/goals this year, but I just don't see him as a number 9; which is what we need. I'm not sure he's THAT good a finisher as was shown last year. I think we need either a big target man type like Drogba or a fox in the box. Suarez is neither and would be just another player who wants the ball a lot like Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Lampard. Hernandez at United would be a better fit IMO - and it would stop him scoring against us!! They probably wouldn't sell to us but then again, Liverpool probably wouldn't either...it's all moot!!
The Americans don't care who they sell to. All they care about is the new sky deal, which is why they bought a nonchampions league club, and the £££££
I'm sure you would if the money was right. If Barca/Real say offered 30 million and we offered 40, would you really not take the 40 - assuming you were happy to sell of course?? As I say, I don't think for a second Liverpool will sell unless they get a silly offer and I don't think we'd be in for him anyway. The targets we are linked with are more obvious target men like Falcao and Cavanni and to be honest I'd have either over Suarez given the choice. Suarez is having a good season but is standing out in an average side at the moment and everything goes through him. For the money he'd cost, I don't think he'd add what is needed to our team.
The right price for you would be more than 40. I don't think they'd want the fan pressure, but I accept there's always a possibility. Suarez is better than Cavani but not Falcao, IMO.
Yes, Chelsea got the better end of that deal . Your owners eyes must turn to £ when they see Chelsea coming to negotiate.
I happen to think Suarez would be a perfect complement to our 3 amigos. I can't stand the bloke either, but we're hardly strangers to controversial players.
If he had the chance to come to Chelsea would i take him? Yeah, i probably would. IMO he's the type of striker we need, he'd thrive off the opportunities given by Mata/Hazard/Oscar. Plus he's miles better than anybody we currently have. I don't think he's worth 40m, however. Although i still think if he was more clinical he'd be miles in front for the golden boot. He does miss a few fair chances.
Don't embarrass yourself son, until Torres handed in his transfer request, pretty much no Liverpool fans accepted he'd come to us. No quotes? It happened 2 years ago, I'd hope no-one is sad enough to be collecting quotes from that long ago!!! How many Arsenal fans said RVP wouldn't go to another P.L club before he signed for United? It happens. I don't think we'd be interested but stranger things have happened.
Whether Suarez is better than Cavani is a matter of opinion but Cavani I think would be a better fit for us. Cavani is definetely a better finisher.
