    apart from the easy passage to the next round, it would be fun to whip their full strength side with our reserves !! BTW i cannot believe Brighton is playing an important match again on friday. what a hollow victory for the scousers !!

    Careful what you wish for, as there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. The scouse are not an easy match at Anfield, look at the results the last few years, and tell me you look forwarded to playing there with our 2nd team. Not trying to rain on your parade, but don't be too much of a keyboard warrior here.

    Agreed, Liverpool are bit Jekyl and Hyde at the moment, they are capable of playing well despite the poor games they've had in the last couple of weeks. Against United I would expect them to find the motivation to play well as they more often than not do. I wouldn't mid playing against them, but I wouldn't be arrogant about it, I doubt we'd fielda team like the one we put out against Leeds against Liverpool.
