Would Boyd Have Strengthened Our Team?

Roll the clock back a few months and Boyd was top of Warnocks shopping list, or one of the top targets.

In the mean time we have swapped one striker for another and signed Hall who Warnock claims is one for the future and a couple more central midfielders.

Warnock said he is not going to dip into the loan market as there is nobody out there who could improve our squad??

I see he has joined Hull on loan today, I have to question Habibou on loan with a view to a permanent or Boyd, I wonder sometimes if Warnock is on medication.

 

Both Boyd and Burke have been on his radar, and he's been saying recently that we need a winger. Then as Ristac says, he's now saying there's nobody out there. Doesn't make sense as usual so I think he's going senile. I reckon his missus has to tie a knot in his hanky to remind him of things. She has probably given him an embossed card with his name and address on for when he gets lost. Can just imagine the team meetings when he has a normal moment " Browny what the **** are you doing here, the last time I saw you I'd just flogged you to pompy"."Oy Drury how long have you been here, we've been screaming for a decent defender"

It would explain loads really, and can't wait until he discovers he bought Hall, just like he remembered that he'd bought Tongue the other night

 

I think what he means Doc is that we need a winger, but that there isn't anyone good enough that's also available at the moment. Come the summer, it might be a different story. But I would like to see Hall given a bit of a chance, sub for Varney after 60 or 70 mins on Saturday per chance. I'd also like to see Habibou replace Morison after 70 odd minutes on Saturday with McCormack moving more centrally.

 

Burke could be loaned if he wanted him enough to me they have thrown the towel in as far as promotion is concernedso don,t expect any signings plenty of noises

Warnock is really starting to sound like a tart. In todays YEP he's saying that he didn't take the family to the Blackpool game just in case he took some stick. His family are up here for the half term holidays and he says that he's felt better having them around. he says he doesn't like being on his own .... ffs. and the mood in the camp is better when he's happy. Fooking hell he knew what he was doing when he took the job, and his personal life and moods shouldn't be effecting team morale. Miserable, moaning, senile old bastard. man up and get the ****ing job done and get us into the play offs. fail and fook off but just imagine what will happen if we actually went up, he would want to stay then, and we'd end up with him feeling lonely ffs. To be honest you dont have to be a great footballer to strengthen your squad (Leeds squad)

Over rating him a bit there OLM. He is decent but I wouldnt have wanted him at Leicester. You have to ask yourself why its taken this long for him to leave Peterborough. Its not like he has been under the radar for years. He is decent but not great. Once Aluko is fit again Boyd will probably only make your bench

 

To hell with him so. If he's not good enough for Leicester, he's not good enough for us either

In fairness I don't overly rate him but I remember moaning when we were linked with him as a Snoddy replacement and you saying back then that he is a decent player. Although I don't rate him I would say that he would improve our current midfield.

 

Ah yes. The Leeds squad that beat those mighty Foxes earlier this season......

 

Why is he not in pl if he has all that?

I thought it was going to be Cardiff by a mile with Hull and Leicester battling it out for the second spot, now I am not so sure, I think your main battle will come from Watford.
