http://www.claretandhugh.info/cardiff-cough-up-morrison-wage-bill/ Thought the Hammers might have shared the cost of getting him fit. Assuming he doesn't go directly to jail without passing go. Hope this isn't another Zaha signing.
My concern too ITI. I couldn't open the link but if we're paying all his wages perhaps we haven't paid a loan fee. It will be a nightmare if he has the same lackadaisical attitude as Zaha and a quick return ticket to oblivion for him.
This is what's in the link .... Cardiff cough up Morrison wage bill Posted by Hugh5outhon1895 on September 26, 2014 in Whispers Ambitious Cardiff City have coughed up the wages for West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison over the period of his three month loan deal. ClaretandHugh was told earlier this afternoon that there was no hesitation by the Championship club to agree a deal for a player they believe can help push the club back into the Premier League. City have been tracking ‘Rav’ for several months and believe the player can make a real difference at the club and we understand they are paying his reported £15k a week wages. However, Sam Allardyce has made it clear the Hammers will be watching the players progress on and off the pitch and that he most certainly hasn’t been ruled out of his future plans. The fact though that the Bluebirds were ready to unhesitatingly foot the wages show how highly they rate a player who is now in the last year of his contract. Cardfiff are currently sitting in 16th spot in the Championship with nine points from eight games.
Sounds a bit one sided that deal. If he's ****e then he's not cost them **** all in his final year and isn't causing grief around their squad, but if he gets fit scores a few goals and sorts himself out then they'll take him back use him and probably offer him a new deal and it's your lot who'll have done the work and paid for it !!
not sure a player with a bad ego is the type we need at present ...............where is our leader in the team, thats what we fking need someone 2 take the game on with passion and guts for 90 plus mins (a roy keane type)>>>>>>>>does this type player exist these days tho>>>>im not sure they do tbh
Would love a Roy Keane type but this guy certainly added something to us yesterday. I thought his confidence (arrogance) fed into the rest of the team and even though we did our usual poo your pants last ten minutes we did it better than normal! (hence the 3 points).
He was phenomenal, I thought. I've been against the signing from the word go; I think he's bad news, although I doubt very much whether he'll go to jail. However, he's a pretty nasty piece of work by the sound of it, and with all the trouble we've had in the past year or so, he's got to be pretty amazing for us to take what could be a big risk. Yesterday, I thought he was a class apart from every other player on the pitch when he came on. Three months with him at the centre of things should get us back up there in my view.
He needs to sort himself out. He was clearly at a different level to everyone on the pitch and we had some players who played really well yesterday. He should be playing at a top club and in the England set up.
