Anyone else think that Daniel Sturridge would be a good striker to have on the books?

He would only add to our English contingent and with the build up play we are creating and have available to him there is no reason he cant be a 20+ goalscorer!

Chelski dont need him either now they have Fernando!

Could possibly be a 7.5m bargain?

Think he would cost about £10m, possibly more depending on his Bolton form. Id take him though.

Id happily pay 10m for him! he has got a deadly left foot and has the pace that can cause defence problems! ill have to have a word with Mr Pardew! ;)

I'd have him in a heartbeat, him + plus a new big target man style striker.

    I would definatly have him
depends on how big his ego will get after his good form because of the wage structure we have in place we may be priced out of a move

He seems like a realistic transfer aswell... Not like us buying David villa!

He's getting to the age where he has to make his break through into the first team and I don't see him doing that at Chelsea due to the abundance of talent and money they have spent up front.

See if we can get a loan first?

Problem is Bolton are currently doing better than us in the league, and I would imagine they would have first dibs on him if Chelsea do actually want to sell him.

I personally dont think he would want to be loaned out again... He i smaturing and would want to sort out his career now and be in a position where he can be looking up rather than waiting for the next club to come along and take him on loan...

the thing that might sway him is club history... We do have a huuuge fan base and after seeing what has just happened to Carroll it might be even more tempting for him!

    Heres hoping eh ;)

He'd be at least 10m I think, probably more. I can see there being a bidding war. If Chelsea sell Bolton would be first in there I reckon
Also hearing his wage demands are particularly high? Something we can't exactly compete with.

Would cost too much after his stint with Bolton imo and would be too much of a risk, maybe if we were a solid mid table team.

His wages will be high - I heard he left City because they wouldn't give him 50(?)k a week

Would take him although I'd expect a lot of competition for his signature

He'd probably cost too much and I imagine Bolton would be in pole position to sign him if he left, but I'd have him

We've probably got more chance of getting Messi. Chelsea will not sell him, what with Drogba's and Anelka's careers coming to an end!
