But then I guess we knew that, as it's mainly a rugby town:

Not much of a surprise I guess given their lousy normal attendance. All the more for Millwall and they will soon snap them up.

saw this, their support is really poor if they can't sell 30k for a cup semi at wembley.

When I looked on their not606 page, one thread had as many as 34 replies!

Only two were Wigan fans, though. I guess the other one posts elsewhere.

You could also make the headline of:

"20,000 Millwall fans forget to turn up to their home fixtures..." <whistle>

The fact that a long standing Prem club, (reaching their first Wembley day in a long long time) can't fill their allocation is a very sorry site indeed! but they only average 19k in the league so clearly don't have the fanbase... It will be interesting to see what the FA do is Wigan make the final as they wouldn't want all the global media coverage showing a half empty stadium on the so called "greatest domestic cup competition"

It is a well known fact that they prefer to watch men playing with peculiar shaped balls in Wigan <whistle>

Do you ever shut up about QPR, its boring. Talk about Chelsea, that would be far more interesting.

It is only a semi final of course so maybe they will sell the lot if they make the final which I hope they do after a replay (is there one?). The more they take their eye off survival in the Prem the better.
Mind you it wasn't that long ago we would have liked average attendances of 19K. We only had 17K for our first home venture into Europe.

<laugh> Know what you mean, I was just tring to see if it was a lot cheaper to watch that than the footy, might explain the reason why they hadn't taken up their allocation!
I've had a quick look and it's about the same as football £21 for the next game.
