Worst strip 2012/13

Just been flicking through a footie mag at the new kits for this year and there are some prize turkies.

Derby County new home kit has to be seen to be believed, surely designed by a Forest fan.

On the subject of Forest their new sponsor is John Pye, it certainly won't be the first time Andy Reid has had pie down the front of his shirt.

anything by adidas 3 stripe crap, and that includes ours.

ever since i was a kid i have always hated adidas, now its Burbery for chavs and looking like a chimney sweep with the flat caps etc, it used to be 3 stripe charver (adidas ****e).

 

Adidas isnt my favorite brand puma is but I would wear the kit

 

well.. Puma. Nike, umbro etc have a small insignia on their stuff, ok trainers the tick for nike is all the way along the shoe, but on strips and tops etc its pretty inconspicuous. Adidas is, well no one knows us, lets blazon our insignia all over the ****ing place, 3 white stripes on the shoulders, 3 stripes on the shorts, 3 stripes on the tracksuits, 3 stripes on the socks, honestly, its just way OTT and 99% of the ppl that buy them, already now who adidas are.

I just dont like them at all. they make decent stuff, just the stripes piss me off.

I have to disagree there. I'm an unofficial brand ambassador for Adidas, I'm by no means a chav. Adidas has become quite an indie brand whereas Nike have become a bit of a hipster brand.

If you overdo it with any sports brand you become a chave but a pair of trainers and a tracksuit top and you look perfectly respectable.

 

I did say used to be when I was a youngan, I am 40 now, you were not even born when I was 14-16 and growing up. (i think you are 23).

but things stick in the memory, I still cant stand them even now but also like I said, its the stripes, they are far too prominant, and they look naff IMHO.

Fair play, it just hurts me when people say they don't like Adidas.

Hurts even more when they say they prefer Nike.

In all honesty i love Nike, only buy their trainers though if I am feeling flush at the time, but they last ages (1 year + easy) all other makes I have tried fall to bits after 2-3 months.

 

Sometimes wear Nike jumpers

 

I personally think this seasons is the worst for a long long time. I wasn't gonna buy it before I found out it was £50 but now the start is approaching I will fork out for it before the Reading game.
I will wear it with pride cos its SAFC but still think its crap
