We bloody need to win this game and he had started one attacking player! I know it is Chelsea but we needed to go all out and suprise them today! Im bloody livid with our board for not sacking Hughton earlier and bringing someone else in. Ps hi all its been a while ;-) OTBC
respectfully disagree, if you read NA pre match talk he stated we MUST at least get to half time still in with a chance, the later we get into the game the more the odds swing in our favour, im am 100% sure either hooper or RVW will be on the second half
Looking at how the game has panned out so far, I would have to agree that NA has got it right (on 68 minutes). I was crying when I saw Elmo as a lone striker, but this is not about going out to take the game to Chelsea for a win, more about not losing and hitting them on the break near the end of the game - smash and grab 1-0 with any luck
we could have nicked it - NA playing Olsson where he did and later Redmond in the hole was a bit more creative than we were used to - feck, Olsson nearly got us a winner ffs
Tactics were right and it just didn't work, the team played very well, Elmander ran for everything and Olsson was great. If Carlo Nash gets the POTS it would be massively unfair on Olsson who have been excellent all season.
