X Factor are murdering some '80s songs tonight - many of which I didn't like anyway. But sung as dreary ballads by 2nd rate karaoke singers takes the biscuit. You can't get worse than that.

 

This is a bit like shooting fish in a barrel. Probably better to say what song do you hate the most after filtering out the obvious manufactured crap and novelty stuff. On that basis I would go with living pn a prayer by bon jovi. I really cannot abide stadium rock and that is the main anthem.

 

Is it the song or the hair and cheesy grin?

I don't like them either, but there is a melody there and if some mad punk covers band did it (like Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, for example), it could be half decent.
