Worst signing of the season?

Let's name and shame the useless rich ****s...

I'll start with Sanchez, very good player at Arsenal. Goes to Utd for 500k a week and performs like a donkey.

There's worse out there due to time as Sanchez was a January transfer. But who and why?

I'd say the three most overrated signings this season have been:

1. Bernardo Silva - utter ****.

2. Jordan Pickford - nowhere near as good as the Mackems hoped.

3. Virgil Van Dijk - the improvement is marginal, a waste of silly money for a defender. The lad Spurs signed for half the money is probably the better of the two.

 

We got 30mil for him.

Probably nowhere near as good the toffee's hoped though!

 

Carrillo, £20m for about a dozen games and no goals and has disappeared without trace with his compatriot who signed him.

Sanchez ain’t the worst signing of the season, He’s been at United for a couple of months.

 

Been a load of **** signings this season but Chelsea win it hands down with Bakayoko, Drinkwater and Morata.

 

Selling Matic to us.

 

Sanches, Bony, Abraham, & Messa have all been utter ****e at Swansea.

But they got a load of money for Sigurdsson so that's all good, eh @Roofie?

 

Got to be the Chav signings really and Sanchez when you compare the layout to the return.

 

The thing with VVD is he might not be pulling up trees but he's had the desired affect for Pool. He's got them organised at the back and is doing a job that has shown in their performances. Sanchez for all the hype and stature he came with has done nothing to make an impact.

Lindelof has been poor on the whole, but is getting better. He has time on his side but is a youngster so Jose will probably kill him.

Well, you could dream I suppose.

 

We bought the VVD package, the organisation, the vocal leader at the back, the best % of headed duels won for a CB in the PL.

The guy scored the winner on his debut against Everton at the Kop end - that's his fee accepted by the fans. Also without VVD we wouldn't be in the CL final. 100% sure on that.

But yeah hater's gwan hate.

Tel knocks VVD daily but his team got Lindelof for over half of what VVD cost. About 40mil iirc

Lindelof probably earns more too playing for the money men.

I wouldn't want to upset Tel's feelings though, he's a little edgy today.
