Let's all laugh at Ipswich! http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs...essful-premier-league-managers-113441372.html
i posted this on the binners board earlier. its not just their current manager in there - check out their current assistant manager at numbers 12 and 19 too...
yes, i think you're right. so at least we're safe in the knowledge that when jewell finally gets the boot he'll be replaced by someone equally as useless
i'm very surprised that alan ball is not in there. i believe he managed three premier teams to relegation, man c., southhampton and one other who i forget.
i think alan ball actually did pretty well compared to some of the names on the list. he was a manager for the first few years in the premier league and kept southampton up a few years. although he eventually kept on getting relegated, his win percentage would be considerably higher than many other bosses
Really surprised that Gary Megson isn't on there I know it's performance based table but his a terrible manager.
He was one of those under the radar managers who fans absolutely hate, but the boards of the club he manages and media never pay to much attention to him or what his doing. Oh and his ginger too so he has no soul.
as i understand it, marcus evans wanted him as ipswich manager before he chose jewell. that would have been interesting!
I hate to remind people, but, Paul Jewel was being touted for our Managers job by some of our own supporters before Gunny's appointment. There is a god and he smiles on Carrow Road! Thank you god. ILD OTBC
