Will he never learn that you get the lead THEN you can manipulate the subs as you need. Instead we go behind and play chasings for 90 mins. Team was useless, absolutely no balance ,no midfield, Torres is really like a lead weight around your ankles. Cahill and JT are utter crap. I can't stand it anymore. No emotion or anything watching Chelsea anymore, it's become a chore rather than a hobby. I normally play on the iPad or something to get me through it, impossible to watch without having a distraction. Roll on next season

Ramires is useless in 4-2-3-1 but a player and a half in a 4-3-3. Team needs to be built around Mata and Ramires, they were our best two players last season.
fully agree. tbf I think we need a new world class defender, Cahill is a good squad option, JT can't defend on his own and to be quite honest I don't really rate Ivanovic at CB. Someone like Matts Hummels.
It's not even a 4231 it's more a 424 because they don't really track back. We need to sacrifice one and play more of a 433 as it gives us more balance. But yeah virtually everything in the OP i agree with.
this! Torres is the worst for it, the unique thing about Drogs was his huge ability defensively, I noticed the amount of times Torres stood there ignoring after being tackled or losing the ball. I just know for a fact we'll end up keeping Torres next season, mark my words.

I always thought that even when RDM introduced it. Problem is that you can't use Hazard Mata and Oscar in a 433 so then you'd have people moaning if any of them was dropped.
Problem is that in Mata,Hazard,Oscar,Moses and Marin we haven't got players for 433. If we go 433 then it's Ba in the middle and which 2 form 5. The midfield would have to be Lamps Mikel and Ramires. I don't think it can work with the current players.
Oscar deeper? So how would your middle 3 set up? I was assuming the middle 3 would be Mikel Ramires Lamps.
This. I personally don't think Lampard and Oscar can play in the same team, too similar and waste of a position. Oscar, Ramires and Luiz as the midfield 3 and Mata, Hazard and Striker as the front 3.
