What champions have gone from winners to relegation fodder in the time it takes a Liverpool fan top leave the Kop 10 minutes before the end of a game?

 

Why is it you modern football fans think football only started with the Premier League ?

Manchester City, 1937.

I win, even Cym doesn't remember that one.

Incase anyone is unaware, City have a record no other side has come close yo matching. Finished as Champions in 1937, United were relegated. Great scenes for the Citizens you would imagine.

12 months later City were relegated, United were promoted.

Worst champions ever.

 

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I do get the feeling that HRH is waging a one-man war against this site's handful of Chelsea supporters...

Chelsea are mere pretenders. Its all well and good being dreadful in November but its the sides that are dreadful in May that make the grade here. Chelsea have a long way to match City and join the exclusive club or English football's biggest failures.

Blackburn in 90s, Villa in 80s, Leeds in 70s.

At least Villa won the EC in 82, and Leeds reached European Cup final.

If Chelsea are eliminated at group stage and finish mid-table like 'Burn, they would join them as worst side in modern memory

 

If you end up getting relegated, you'll be the worst.
