Shameless lift from the last post on what you all think is the Best British Movie. No poll, feel free to suggest what you like. For me it has to be Carry on England. Hardly any of the originals were involved and it bit the big one. Over to you.
The Firm remake was terrible I watched one a few weeks back about the Essex murders in the 90s. Again, terrible.
Apart from Escape To Victory my tim friend. A candidate for worst would be A Clockwork Orange. Utter piffle.
Technically it`s not a film about football in the sporting sense. Worst Brit flick ever has to be Dr No. Apart from the bit withUrsula Andress in the bakini
Green Street was a pile of ****e, could never take a football hooligan film seriously when the main star is a Yankee Hobbitt.
The Damned United is quite a good movie although some would say it's not about football per se, rather a critique of a paranoid alcoholic.
For me it's The Wicker Man, closely followed by that Biggles movie from around 20-25 years or so ago. North Sea Hijack also deserves a mention on this thread.
