thinking back on the oxford game we didnt play well and should have got beaten easily and if it wasnt for an amazing goalkeeping display by nikki bull we would have come away suffering a heavy defeat which doesnt bode well for next season if we go up.this squad needs a serious overhaul to be able to compete in division one next season.i am not just talking about this one game i am talking about over the whole season,it seems every week us fans are on here saying the same thing if it wasnt for bull in goal we would have lost.imagine if bull wasnt in our team this season where would we be in the league, nowhere near the top thats for sure.any thoughts ?
I got the impression we were well on top for most of the second half but even then nearly lost it and, as you say Rocky, but for Nicky Bull we would have lost it. It seems they are capable but can't achieve for more than half a game.
we played well in stages ron but the fact is bully made some wonderful saves to keep us in it,their midfield cut through ours like a knife through butter
Are you trying to say you're not as good as your position may say? If so, I appreciate your honesty.. Roll on the next 5 games!
although we are in the top 3 we are not playing well for long enough periods in the game for my liking,in the first half at oxford we could have been 3 or 4 goals down if it hadnt been for superman in our goal
If Nikki Bull doesn't win the Player Of The Year award at Adams Park it would be criminal. Think it is fair to say that without him we would be around mid table.
To be fair, we are also so inconsistant. But I don't think I'd be wrong in saying, so's everybody else. You can't beat having a good goal keeper, that's for sure. They're worth their weight in gold & although go un-noticed at times, they can earn your club several points over the season. So, well done to NB for keeping you guys up there!
