All will come out in the wash dan. I'm extremely confident, well very hopeful, almost relaxed even, that Stevey Boy will bring in the number of players he requires.

P.S. Do the Americans understand the rules for five-a-side matches ? :emoticon-0116-evilg

They would not have invested if there was no intent to build a team and squad of sufficient depth to challenge the top half of the table. We do need quality but also numbers rather desperately at the moment.

I think there will be quite a bit of activity in July; nothing big [as far as names are concerned] but more like (IMO) a case of putting together a squad that can compete at this level.

I've said it on umpteen times, but I'll say it again. During the tenure of the CVA our prime objective is to continue to function as a club and to maintain our status in the second tier. If we get through this without suffering a relegation we will have achieved a goal that our nearest and dearest were unable to; something they may take into account when making snide comments about our current plight

We managed it until the parachute money ran out. Let's see what happens when you have to function without that huge chunk of money.
